where on earth can I install a DVD-rw drive if it get erased because of reinstalling?

I have a dvd-rw drive on this computer but now i cant even survey dvds .What should I do?

Find the manufacturer's web site and download tentative drivers. That is the only piece you can do.
You should have gotten a compact disc with the drive. It will enjoy the drivers and software for both DVD burning and watching. If you do not have the compact disc, check the web site of the factory owner. They will probably have it as a free download.
