The 7600GS is the better of the two contained by terms of gaming speed.

The reviews of the Sapphire at http://www.newegg.com/ are not fitting. The XFX reviews are only slightly better - they've used slower memory.

You might want to consider the 256Mb card from Gigabyte - submissive cooling as a bonus: lb77.54

i'd get the 7600 ...
I would travel for the 7600 gs. Nvidia seem to hold less driver problems than ATI .
To be honest I don't know which one is better but I'll shift for the Nvidia cause adjectives the new games are developed using the Nvidia technology
