where on earth within XP do you find the first name of your illustrative card?
Right click on MY COMPUTER and pick PROPERTIES. Then progress to the Hardware section and click on the Device Manager button. Scroll down to the Video Adapter portion and click on the PLUS sign and you will see what brand adapter card that you are running.

Dxdiag
Once its loaded, click the "Display" Tab at the top. It will tell you erveything going on for your graphics card.

Simply click on start, control pannel. And then click 'Category View' and select "system" if it does not appear after this try...
Start, All Programmes, Accessories, System Tools, System information and work your route through the list on the departed hand side. It will read out hardware and if you read down it should say adjectives your system specs...

1)On your desktop click near right mouse button
2)In menu choose 'Properties'
3)In 'Display Properties' window choose 'Settings' tab
4)Press 'Advanced' button
5)In the glass that opened choose 'Adapter' tab
In the information you will find:
'Chip type' - producer
'Adapter string' - type of card
click on the start button > adjectives programs > accessories > system tools > system information
