Which graphics card is better?

Would my gaming experience be enhanced more beside a NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT 512MB running in SLI mode, or beside just a single NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB?

Which graphics card is better?

Well this combines two adjectives mistakes made in graphics cards. One is, populace just look at the amount of memory and assume more is better. The other is that they seem to be to think SLI is the most amazing point ever.

Anyway, in some cases the SLI setup here might win, but within most cases, the 8800GTX would be better, and when DirectX 10 games come out, it will be the clear winner. But don't buy of late yet, the 8800 Ultra is set to come out on May 1, which will be faster than the 8800GTX.
yes it will i enjoy the 8800 and im a big time gamer and the 8800gtx is a awsome card my son has the 7950gt's sli and i win better fps then he dose.when you sli the video cards it done not show 1gig it show 512mb the sli a short time ago make the graphics make better and have a high fps. but it dosen't increase the ram
This chart might present you some insights.

It appears that high core speed contained by SLI mode could beat the 8800 GTX surrounded by some 3D benchmarks, but NOT in adjectives games.
