where on earth is the graphics card within a dell dimension 4600?

also when i installed my unknown card the windows boot up eyeshade is differnet colors but after that screen it works fine

OK For Dell Dimensin 4600 have integrated onboard : Intel Extreme Graphics controller



for expansion slot for better video quality it use AGP Video card. you could use any AGP video card which better consequently onboard.



The boot up screen within different color, please check if your AGP card installed / plugged correctly ? if you're using onboard, please check the BIOS.
