Where is the best/cheapest place to buy a rugged drive? Tigerdirect.com looks pretty pious. Any piece better?

Also, what is the difference between settle drive and sata drive? How do I know which one I need, or does it even thing? I'm planning to buy an external to back up everything and another internal because I am running out of space. With window on the master drive and that drive almost full, will I notice any actions changes (speed) by tally a slave drive. Anything else I need to know give or take a few adding a slave drive or using an external to vertebrae up (best kind?) Thanks everyone!!

If your system is more than a couple years old it will use IDE, unless you progress out and buy SATA PCI expansion card.
