Your local c disk will come up.

Right click on it. A page will come up.

Click on properties at the bottom of the page and it will show the capacity, a round circle , showing Space used and free space.

This should do it. Good interview for others to learn.
If your thorny drive is fully partitioned than you can see for each wall the amount of free space and used space by right clicking on the drive letter and select properties.

If your hard drive is not fully partitioned, the total dimensions can be seen within BIOS, or by installing a software like PC Wizard, Everest, Fresh Diagnose, PartitionMagic (this later one allows you to also make partition on the unformatted space).

Also, the total capacity of your intricate drive is written inside your computer, on the hard disk drive sign.
